Why is this picture of a rubber duck here?
To answer this question you will need to read this MAC Message Post!
The Annual meeting Hospitality site was launched to entice you to visit Pittsburgh, to attend the 2013 MAC/MLA Annual Meeting and to use it as a guide to many of the city and region’s attractions. We hope you will find time to visit the wonderful parks, walking & biking trails, zoos and aviary, historical sites and museums, as well as the architectural gems the region and city has to offer.
The Hospitality committee has been adding additional information to the site such as information on Dine Arounds on Monday October 14th and a convenient city dining map. We are planning a mobile photo scavenger hunt along with other fun activities.
Events During the Meeting
In the near future we will be adding information on events that are happening during your stay. These include the migration of a giant rubber ducky to Pittsburgh, for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust’s International Festival of Firsts and The Carnegie International, at the Carnegie Museum of Art, the oldest exhibition of international contemporary art in North America, and the second oldest in the world. On Sunday October 13 at 2:30pm at Heinz Hall, a block away from the convention hotel, the world renowned Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra will play Honeck, Dvorak and Mozart.
Ask the Hospitality Committee…Really, we want to help!
